Description
TOTAL is a contractor of SKK MIGAS that received concession rights for oil and gas exploration and exploitation in the Southwest Head Bird Block (SWBH) of Papua. Administratively, the concession is located in Districts of Inanwatan, Matemani, Kokoda, Kais and Konda, Sorong Selatan Regency, West Papua Province. TOTAL had undertaken exploration activities, i.e. seismic and topography surveys.The study covered geological, physic-chemistry, biological as well as and community health aspects. BBS as a sub-consultant of URS was responsible for socio-economic & socio-culture, terrestrial flora and soil aspects.
