Under loan Agreement between The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) with The Republic of Indonesia, GOI through its Executing Agency, PLN has carried out the Kotapanjang Hydroelectric Power Plant and Associated Transmission Line Project I & II, Riau Province and West Sumatera Province which was completed in 1998. Since 1985, JBIC financed the government of Indonesia for the project.
