Hapseng Group intended to capture the opportunity of the deep sea oil and gas development in South China Sea. In this regards, BITA was appointed to prepare a Visionary Master Plan for strengthening the existing Asian Supply Base in Labuan island by the development of new logistic and living enhancement centre in the island named by LOGIC (Labuan Oil and Gas Integrated Centre). The study envision to revitalize the economy of the island as International Financial Zone that will create a new comprehensive logistic centre in Eastern Malaysia.Three new major zones are planned in LOGIC, with a new International harbor (60 ha./150 acre), a regional logistic/storage centre (82 ha./203 acre) and processing industry area (78 ha./194 acre) and new lifestyle area (103 ha./253 acre).
